About payment system
Vipps is deeply integrated with the Norwegian banking infrastructure and has significantly expanded its reach through a merger with MobilePay, now serving users in Denmark, Finland, and soon Sweden.
In 2023, Vipps facilitated over 1.24 billion transactions, supporting a user base of more than 12 million across the Nordic region. With its growing cross-border capabilities, Vipps plays a key role in streamlining international payments and driving the digital payment landscape in Northern Europe.
